2021 Temporary register of life-saving medicines for COVID-19-related issues
A temporary COVID-19 Life Saving Drugs Register (LSDR) was created in May 2021 to enable ready access to medicines for COVID-19-related issues following discussions at the NSW COVID-19 Drug and Therapeutics Advisory Community of Practice meetings. The latest version of the temporary Register (last updated 30/8/21) listed fondaparinux, one of a number of therapeutic options for managing Vaccine-induced Immune Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT). The temporary register is now no longer required and has been removed.
